There are several opportunities for Summer Fun with Cub Scouts.

Summer Camp with Denver Area Council
The Denver Area Council of Boy Scouts of America offers several tracks of overnight camps at their facilities.  The best source of information on this is the Denver Area Council website. Click [ HERE ]
 
Summer Day Camps with Gateway District
The Gateway district offers a couple of day camps. One is 5 days, the other is 3 days. The source of information on these is at the Gateway District website.  Click [ HERE ]
 
Webelos Weekend
Gateway district offers Webelos Weekend each year for all Webelos I and II scouts. It includes overnight camping with the older Boy Scout Troops.

Our Pack 766 is offering some events over the summer. Details are below. Check back here for any updates.  Better yet, Register on this site (upper right corner) so we have your email address and we'll send an email on any plans.

  

 Summer Camp at Magness Minimize

Magness Adventure Camp for Cub Scouts and Families

When: July 15 - July 17, 2010 (Thur - Sat)

Where: Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch, Elbert, CO. It is about a 1 hour drive from downtown Denver.

Activities include: Hiking, Obstacle Course, BB guns, Archery, Crafts, Swimming, Canoeing, Fishing, Tomahawks, Slingshots, and Campfire Skits

Cost: $90 per Cub Scout and sibling if paid in full by March 31st. Adults are $70 each. Children 5 and under are free.

Deadline: You need to Register (and pay) by Friday Feb 12th. Spaces are held for Pack 766 until then. After that, you are not guaranteed a spot.

Registration instructions:

  • Unit and Number: Pack 766 (This will be used as your personal "group/family" in subsequent pages. We can all use Pack 766, just use your personal contact data below that)
  • Council Name: Denver Area Council
  • District Name:Gateway District
  • Select "Register individuals" to add your family members to your "group/family".
  • Register scouts as the rank (Tiger, Wolves, Bears, etc) they will be IN THE FALL. Be sure to get this correct the first time as you cannot change the level information once the registration has been completed.
  • Don't worry about selecting a Facility, we'll all be at the same camp location together as a Pack.
  • Once you've completed the on-line registration, you will be contacted by the Denver Area Council to compete a Personal Health and Medical Record form. These need to be filled out for each member that is attending.
